Purchase and reservation

The day and/or time don't match my requirements, what can I do?
We take account of your choice of day and time where possible, but it may be that we do not have a flight in keeping with your wishes. We’ll always contact you if there is more than four hours’ difference between your choice of day/time and our flight possibilities. If we cannot find a suitable flight for you, we will reimburse 100% of your payment.

Why doesn't your calendar show the available flights?
Our daily operations depend on many aspects such as availability of pilots, residual flying time of the planes, rules with regard to maximum pilot flying hours, restrictions by the airports and any weather influences. Our planning schedules are therefore subject to continuous change, making it impossible to keep an up-to-date calendar on our site.

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept the following methods of payment: Mastercard, Maestro, Visa, SOFORT Banking, Bancontact, giropay and Ideal.

When will I be charged?
Payment is charged immediately after security checks from your bank issuer have been authorized.

My credit card doesn't work on your site, what now?
The 3D secure system is used in Europe. This is a verification method with which you must confirm your credit card payment using a special code. Many American credit cards do not use the 3D secure system. Please contact your credit card company or choose a different method of payment.

How do I know if my tour has been booked successfully?
We will send you a confirmation e-mail when a successful booking has been completed. This confirmation e-mail will give you the details of your booking along with a booking reference number. We advise you to keep this e-mail safely as you will need your booking reference number for any further queries that you may have. Failure to provide us with a booking reference number will result in a delay of your enquiry.

I did not receive a confirmation e-mail!
Please contact us if you do not receive a confirmation e-mail and we will see if it’s a problem with our system. Confirmation e-mails are generated and sent automatically once a booking has been successfully completed. You may need to check your mailbox as it may be treating our emails as spam or junk mail. You may also need to ensure that all of the details entered  in are correct. Please pay particular attention to your payment card details and e-mail address.

Do I need a reservation?
Yes, reservations are mandatory for all sightseeing flying tours. Do you have questions? Here you will find our contact details.

Do you have gift vouchers available for purchase?
Yes we do. All you have to do is purchase a sightseeing flying tour from our website and put the name of your recipient as the passenger.  You will then receive an e-ticket with their name on it and you can forward it to them however you wish.  If you would like to purchase a hard copy gift voucher and have it mailed to you or your recipient, please e-mail us at hello@flyovertheworld.com so that we can process your order.  Additional shipping fees and a €5.00 gift voucher processing fee will be applied.

Are there any additional fees?
No, there are no additional fees!

Can I pay you on location?
Sorry no, your flight must be booked and paid for online.

Operational

How many people can fly in your airplanes / helicopters?
Our airplanes seat up to 3 passengers plus one pilot. Our triple helicopters seat up to 3 passengers plus one pilot. Our quad helicopters seat up to 4 passengers plus one pilot. The total weight of the passengers cannot exceed 240 kg for 3 passengers or 340 kg for 4 passengers. Weight per seat cannot exceed 132 kg and the front seat cannot exceed 85 kg. We don’t take risks so if we have any doubt, we will ask all passengers to step on the weighing scale.

Which types of airplanes and helicopters do you fly?
We fly the Cessna 172, Robinson R44 and Robinson R66.

What are your hours of operation?
We are open all year round, 7 days a week from 9 am to 6 pm (last flight at 5 pm) including holidays. 

Is there a minimum age to join your sightseeing flying tours?
No! We only ask that children are under adult supervision at all times.

I am disabled, can I join your sightseeing flying tours?
Yes that is possible! We kindly request you to contact us before you make a booking so we can discuss how we can be of service to you. Here you will find our contact details.

How long are your sightseeing flying tours?
Our tours range from 20 minutes to 60 minutes depending on your tour choice. Please keep in mind that it takes 20 minutes before and 20 minutes afterwards due to the procedures we have to carry out.

Is parking available at the airport?
All locations have parking space within walking distance.

Is there public transportation to Fly Over The World?
Not all of our locations can be easily reached by public transportation. So check carefully whether your departure location is easily accessible by public transport.

Must I bring my photo identification with me?
Yes, all guests are required to bring a valid photo ID. A driver license is not a valid ID.

I arrive later than the time on the boarding pass, what now?
The boarding card shows the time at which your appearance should be present. If you are later, we reserve the right to shorten or cancel your flight. Refund is then not possible. So be on time!

Reschedule, cancellation and refund

What happens if I buy a tour and my flight is cancelled due to weather conditions?
Fly Over The World will do his best to reschedule your sightseeing flying tour for another date and time. If we cannot find you an alternative date and time for your tour and you purchased your tour through this website, we will refund you in full. If you purchased our tour through a 3rd party or affiliate you will need to contact them directly to discuss refund options.

What is your cancellation and/or refund policy?
In case of cancellation of the Air Tour by the Operator and or FlyOver due to weather conditions or other operational contingency, You are entitled to a full refund. In case You cancel the Air Tour the following cancellation terms shall apply:

  • Cancellation up till 7 days before the flight time is free of charge, You will receive a full refund.
  • Rescheduling and cancellation until 48 hours before the flight time, You will receive a full refund of which an administration and handling fee of EUR 75,00 will be deducted;
  • Cancellation within 48 hours before the flight time, no refund shall be issued.

If the Operator is forced to cancel the Air Tour due to the fact that You have failed to (correctly) inform the Operator of crucial information necessary for the (safe) performance of the Air Tour such as (over)weight, pregnancy and/or disability’s, no refund shall be issued.

In the event of a ‘no show’ or if You are not present on the time stated on the boarding pass, FlyOver and the Operator reserve the right to shorten or cancel the Air Tour without issuing a (partial) refund to You.

Should I call to check my reservation status on the day of my flight if the weather looks bad?
Yes it is always a good idea to check with the operator prior to your flight if the weather looks bad. You will find the telephone number of the operator on your boarding pass.

Do you have an AOC number?
Fly Over The World tours are carried out in cooperation with companies that hold a valid Air Operator Certificate (AOC).
