In the heart of Sydney, Dee Why is a place where you can find everything. It's a small coastal suburb located in the northern region of Sydney and offers some of the best beaches in Australia. In addition to being an amazing place to visit while you're in Sydney, Dee Why also makes for a great place to live if you're looking for more than just beach time. There are plenty of activities available to residents and visitors alike: surfing lessons at Dee Why Beach Beach; boat trips to Manly; and even horseback riding!

The origin of the name Dee Why is quite a mystery. Referencer of the name go as far back as 1815, when it was noted in a surveyors field book with pencil. DY might have simply been a marker that he used more often, but the name stuck.

Admire the spectacular houses of Dover Heights and Vaucluse perched on the chiselled sandstone cliffs as you continue northbound to Sydney Heads. From the entrance to Sydney Harbour, the flight path will continue north passing the golden sands of Manly and Curl Curl Beaches en route to Dee Why and Long Reef. We fly towards the yachts-filled waters of Middle Harbour, as you look down at the traffic crawling along the Spit Bridge and then onwards into the awe-inspiring Sydney Harbour giving you a view of icons such as the Sydney Harbour Bridge, Sydney Opera House, Taronga Zoo, Watsons Bay, Rose Bay, Manly Beach and Sydney’s most exclusive real estate addresses. Looking towards the horizon you can see the rest of Sydney stretching out towards the Sydney Olympic site and further afield to the foothills of the world-renowned Blue Mountains. On our way back to the heliport we will fly past some of Sydney’s great sporting arenas including the Sydney Football Stadium and the Sydney Cricket Ground, as well as Randwick Racecourse.
