Katoomba is located in the Blue Mountains of New South Wales. It's a beautiful place to visit year-round, with its lush forests and majestic mountains. The best time to visit Katoomba is spring or fall, the mild temperatures make it a lovely place to get outside and explore despite the altitude of 1017 meters. If you're hiking in the area, be sure to check out the Queen Elizabeth Lookout, or Three sisters lookout, which offer some great views of the famous Three Sisters rock formations and other surrounding peaks.
