Naarden Vesting

Naarden Vesting is a well-preserved fortress in the Netherlands.

It is located in the municipality of Naarden, North-Holland. The fortress was built in the 14th century, and it has been well preserved since then. Naarden Vesting is a popular tourist attraction, and it is open to the public year-round. This historical site is beautifully restored and preserved as a monument. From the Skye, this unique play of water and land looks more like a snowflake than what would be expected of a fortress. But there is also more than enough to do on the ground.
