False Bay is a large bay located on the eastern side of the Cape Peninsula in South Africa. It is known for its beautiful beaches and is a popular destination for swimming, surfing, and other water sports. False Bay is home to many towns and suburbs, including Muizenberg, Fish Hoek, and Simon's Town. The bay is also home to many marine protected areas, including the Boulders Penguin Colony and the Fish Hoek Valley Marine Protected Area. False Bay is a popular spot for whale watching, as the area is home to multiple whale species, including southern right whales and humpback whales. The bay is also home to several shipwrecks, which are popular diving spots.
